The Friends of Larchmont Parks is led by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees who are dedicated to working with the Village of Larchmont and the greater community to better our public parks. If you are interested in volunteering on a FOLP committee or joining our Board of Trustees please contact us.
Founder & Co-President
Laura Rosenthal, Founder and Co-President, oversees all aspects of the organization’s fundraising efforts and management of the Constitution Park project. From Sheldrake to Flint to Manor Park, she and her family enjoy all that our community’s green spaces have to offer. Prior to FOLP, Laura was a Director at TrialGraphix, a national litigation consulting firm.
Deborah Maher, Co-President, also oversees the current operations as well as strategically plans for the future. Deb was recently promoted to President at the Randall’s Island Park Alliance, a nonprofit and public-private partner of the NYC Department of Parks, where she administers the management, programming and restoration of nearly 400 acres of City parkland for active sports, entertainment and recreation use.
Darren Moss, Vice President, is also the President of the Pinebrook Park Association. This is his third year with FOLP. Darren has a financial services background and when he is not volunteering his time in and around Larchmont/Mamaroneck or coaching one of his children’s sports teams, he works with small and medium-sized companies to refine their sales processes.
Kevin McCarthy is the FOLP Treasurer. Kevin is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast who moved to Larchmont in 2013 with his wife and two boys after 15 years in NYC and an adventurous childhood in the Midwest. Kevin attended Colgate undergraduate and earned an MBA at Columbia, and he has worked as a financial analyst for Neuberger Berman for more than 15 years.
Laura Brancato Woelfel
