Laura Rosenthal

Founder & Co-President

Laura Rosenthal, Founder and Co-President, oversees all aspects of the organization’s fundraising efforts and management of the Constitution Park project. From Sheldrake to Flint to Manor Park, she and her family enjoy all that our community’s green spaces have to offer. Prior to FOLP, Laura was a Director at TrialGraphix, a national litigation consulting firm.

Deborah Maher

Deborah Maher

Co-President

Deborah Maher, Co-President, also oversees the current operations as well as strategically plans for the future. Deb was recently promoted to President at the Randall’s Island Park Alliance, a nonprofit and public-private partner of the NYC Department of Parks, where she administers the management, programming and restoration of nearly 400 acres of City parkland for active sports, entertainment and recreation use.

Darren Moss

Darren Moss

Vice President

Darren Moss, Vice President, is also the President of the Pinebrook Park Association. This is his third year with FOLP. Darren has a financial services background and when he is not volunteering his time in and around Larchmont/Mamaroneck or coaching one of his children’s sports teams, he works with small and medium-sized companies to refine their sales processes.

Kevin McCarthy

Treasurer

Kevin McCarthy is the FOLP Treasurer. Kevin is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast who moved to Larchmont in 2013 with his wife and two boys after 15 years in NYC and an adventurous childhood in the Midwest. Kevin attended Colgate undergraduate and earned an MBA at Columbia, and he has worked as a financial analyst for Neuberger Berman for more than 15 years.

Webmaster

Annie Berger manages the FOLP website and helps our organization communicate our efforts to the public through our web presence. As the owner of Luck Blooms Web Design, Annie works with local businesses to build an online presence that will help their business grow.

Meegan Insley

Meegan Insley

Communications & Marketing

Meegan Insley handles communications and marketing for FOLP. She is also involved in Larchmont’s junior sailing program and school committees. Before moving to Larchmont, Meegan worked for a branding and marketing firm in NYC and now does consulting projects.

Lynn Janson

Lynn Janson

Communications & Events

Lynn Janson supports FOLP’s communications and events committee and also oversees Love Your Park Day. Lynn previously worked on Capitol Hill and on political and issue advocacy campaigns.
Laura R. Lavan

Laura R. Lavan

Fundraising & Events

Laura R. Lavan serves on our fundraising and events committee, having previously been on our Advisory Committee early on. Laura is an artist, sculptor and champion of Westchester community causes having served on WCM and Boys and Girls Club of Mt. Vernon executive boards.
Dawn Magid

Dawn Magid

Dawn Magid, a Certified Public Accountant, provides accounting support to FOLP. Dawn has over 18 years of experience in accounting and finance. Dawn lives in Larchmont with her husband and children, and is passionate about the community’s beautiful parks and their preservation.

Steve Mott

Steve Mott

Steve Mott brings 15 years of non-profit and government experience and is the Chief of Staff of HELP USA, a homeless-service and affordable-housing non-profit. Steve has also worked at a start-up anti-poverty non-profit, as a policy advisor to a US Senator, and as a mediocre late-night public radio host.
Kara Nuti

Advisor, Fundraising

Kara Nuti has rejoined FOLP as an advisor and will coordinate fundraising events and manage the annual giving fund.
Simon Sikorski

Simon Sikorski

Simon Sikorski brings a wealth of international marketing experience to the FOLP team including leadership roles in marketing, production, advertising organizations. He and his family have enjoyed all the parks of Larchmont since moving to the village in 2013.

Village & Donor Liason

Laura Wright Treadway assists with coordination with the Village Board, and as a liaison with donors and supporters. Laura is dedicated to protecting and enhancing our parks and public spaces.
